Welcome to nokhta. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights.
2 Information we collect
We may collect and process the following data about you:

- Profile data: Your profile information, bio, and links you choose to share

- To create and manage your profile pages

4 Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating our platform, but only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. Any information you choose to make public on your profile will be visible to anyone who visits your profile page.
From a business card (beta)
When you choose “From a business card” (beta), the card photos you take are sent to OpenRouter, which passes them to an AI model provider only to read the details on the card. nokhta does not store these photos; they live only in the request. The details you see become your profile. This feature is optional.
Profile sharing
When you invite someone to a profile, nokhta stores their email address to deliver the invitation and show it in their app. Members can see each other’s names. We keep an activity history of changes for 180 days. Invitations expire after 7 days.
5 Data security
We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees and service providers who have a business need to know.
6 Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to processing of your personal data
- Request transfer of your personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time
Deleting your account
Delete your account in the app under Settings › Account › Delete account, or in the website settings. This deletes your account, owned profiles and links, their uploaded files, and AI generation records. Invitations and activity history for your deleted profiles are also deleted. Your memberships in other people’s profiles are removed, all access tokens are revoked, and your cards are deactivated.
Before deleting, transfer ownership or stop sharing any profiles that have members. Activity history on other people’s profiles, including your name, remains for up to 180 days.
8 Changes to this policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
